MISS BIRMINGHAM
An Official Scholarship Program of the Miss Alabama and Miss America Pageants
Susannah Higgins was crowned Miss Birmingham 2008 on August 25, 2007. She is a native of Calera, and is currently attending the University of Montevallo, where she is pursuing a degree in Elementary & Collaborative Education. Her scholastic ambition is to obtain a Masters Degree in Elementary Education.
Susannah's platform is Project PACH - Providing All Children Homes. This platform provides information to families about the need for qualified, stable, loving foster families in the state of Alabama as well as the nation. Project PACH provides opportunities for Susannah to heighten awareness across the state of Alabama, and encourage families to participate in Project PACH.
Susannah will be competing in the 2008 Miss Alabama Pageant as a representative of the Greater Birmingham Metro Area.
