Brandi Poss was crowned Miss Heart of Dixie 2010 on February 28, 2010.  She is a native of  Tuscumbia, Alabama and is currently attending the University of North Alabama, where she is pursuing a master's degree in Social Work.   

Brandi's platform is Stop Child Abuse and Neglect and she is affiliated with Big Brothers Big Sisters - the oldest, largest and most effective youth mentoring program in the United States. 

By combining her skills in public speaking and vocal performance, she is able to educate children on how to recognize abuse and what steps to take to help stop it.

Brandi will be competing in the 2010  Miss Alabama Pageant June 9-12, 2010.
