The Latest:

The Miss Birmingham | Miss Cahaba Valley | Miss Hidden River Organization has received numerous awards and honors from Miss Alabama:

  • ​​Named 2017-2018 Director of the Year by the Miss Alabama Organization!
  • Named Outstanding Open Preliminary by the Miss Alabama Organization 2013 & 2015!
  • Winner of Best Program Book 2008, 2013, 2018 & 2019! 
  • Winner of Best Website 2016, nominated for Best Website 2008-2019! 
  • ​Winner of Best Script 2009, nominated for Best Script 2008-2019!
  • Honorable Mention for Best Set Design 2016 - 2019, nominated for Best Set Design 2008-2019

​​The Miss Birmingham Competition became an official scholarship preliminary to the Miss Alabama and Miss America Competitions in 2006.  In 2009, Miss Birmingham's Teen was added as an official preliminary to the Miss Alabama's Teen Competition.  In 2010, the Miss Heart of Dixie title was added, which changed to Miss Cahaba Valley in 2013.  At that same time, we added Miss Cahaba Valley's Teen.  In 2022, the Miss Hidden River & Miss Hidden River's Teen titles were added, and we officially became The Miss Birmingham | Cahaba Valley | Hidden River Scholarship Organization.

For 102 years the Miss America & Miss Alabama organizations have been preparing great women for the world and preparing the world for great women and the Miss Birmingham + Miss Cahaba Valley + Miss Hidden River Organization is proud to crown six young women each year who represent the Birmingham and Cahaba Valley areas in our state competitions:

Our Mission is to provide scholarship opportunities, to empower young women to strive for excellence when pursuing personal and professional goals, to develop invaluable life skills that will be used throughout her lifetime, to develop and maintain lasting connections and friendships, and to make a difference in her community, her state, and her nation.
